WMSL Visits Whitby Minor Girls Tournament

TORONTO, ON, July 4, 2024 – The Whitby Minor Girls Tournament attracted nearly 40 teams this year and Women’s Major Series Lacrosse (WMSL) was there to greet them. A booth was set up with the leagues championship trophies and a jersey  from each of this years teams on display. Representatives from the league were there to answer questions about the league and to hand out contact sheets for the league and every team as well as a sheet of frequently answered questions and answers. The jerseys were the big draw and a totally unscientific poll showed that the Niagara Turtle Islanders was the jersey of choice for the minor girls and the Grand River Attack jersey for the  older crowd. All in all a great day to connect with potential  future  players in WMSL and to spread awareness of the league. Thanks to Vic Utrosa from Whitby Minor Lacrosse for facilitating this endeavour.
