Official WMSL Branded Merchandise Now Available
TORONTO, ON, July 10, 2024 – The Women’s Major Series Lacrosse (WMSL) has made the leap into new threads this year. After years of creating a simple Provincials T-Shirts for the players to purchase this time we’re branching out into official WMSL branded merchandise that is available to the general public. The merchandise will hopefully serve as a small but much-needed revenue source for the league and allow players and fans to rep their favourite league.
The black hoodie design was inspired by a Hamilton Bengals player that said she wanted a shirt with “Women’s Lacrosse” in big bold letters. So, we did just that or as close to it as we could by throwing the word Box in there to separate ourselves from Women’s Field.
The T-Shirt was selected to be a performance material that players and fans a-like can use during workouts to keep cool. The design was dreamed up by our commissioner with the desire to use the unique yellow first letter in our logo to create WMSL as the focal point.
Finally, the grey trucker hat is just much-loved classic.
The initial round of orders will be accepted until 11:59 PM on July 28, 2024. All orders placed by then will be available for free pick-up at the WMSL Provincials August 16-18 in St Catharines at Canada Games Park and Bill Burgoyne Arena. Select sizes may be available for purchase in person at provincials. If demand remains beyond the original closure, the store may be reopened for Direct Shipping orders at a later date.
The WMSL merch store and clothing will be provided by Ricarts Branded Apparel & Promo out of Peterborough, Ontario. Special thanks to the WMSL staff who helped design, source and will be eventually delivering the merchandise.
