BACK TO BACK BECKY SMITH TROPHIES FOR THE RUSH
TORONTO, ON, July 28, 2024 –
After 2 wins Saturday, the Whitby Rush are your 2024 WMSL Regular Season winner. They finished tied on 16 points with Mimico after both going 8-1 but with the Rush’s 7-1 victory over Mimico on July 20th they hold the tie-break and therefore take the crown. As Regular Season champs, they are awarded the Becky Smith Memorial Trophy for the 2nd year in a row after also winning it in 2023. This also sets them up with the 1st seed going into provincials.
